Origin
Roy Carter was formerly an orphaned shoeshine boy, but he was taken in by Blaine Whitney, secretly a crime fighter known as the Wizard. The Wizard saw potential in the boy and trained him as his sidekick. So from that day on Roy was Roy the Super Boy.
He later formed the team known as the Boy Buddies with fellow sidekick Dusty the Boy Detective.
