Orphaned when his parent were killed by a criminal, he went to live for the next 20 years with an old Yogi in the old temple of Aidni in the Himalayan Mountains.
When the Yogi calls forth the power of the gods of wisdom, speed, and power from Valhalla, a lightning bolt transforms the youth into Captain Wonder, possessing the strength of a hundred men, great wisdom and speed, the power to fly like a bird and swim like a fish.
He once teamed up with The White Mask.
