Electric Arrow is a vigilante archer who works outside of the laws of the Dimension of Centras. Unlike many other vigilantes who take up the fight against crime due to some personal tragedy, he does what he does for the rush of facing off against Centras' villains. He does have a sense of honor, however. How he gained his powers is unknown, but it isn't rare for peoples born in the Reality Realm of Iianium to develop unique abilities.
Electric Arrow has a bit of a temper, which he usually takes out on the bad guys he works tirelessly to bring to justice. While he tries hard not to kill his foes, when innocents are in danger, all bets are off. He hates restrictive and unjust laws that take away the freedoms of the denizens of Centras.
His fight against injustice has made him a folk hero in Iianium. Often he will be aided by the downtrodden and the forgotten when he is being hunted by the authorities or by villains seeking revenge against him. He is a bit of a loner, however, and rarely stays on a floating tor for more than a few months.
Electric Arrow has few close personal relationships. He was once very close to Baethany Ashiran before she accepted the mantle of Captain Centras. The two of them are now forced to be enemies in the public eye. She's arrested him half-a-dozen times as part of her duty to the Worlds' Elders. Baethany's nickname for him is Elar. It is the name that his few friends use when conversing with him casually.
Electric Arrow's real name is unknown to the authorities and to the general public. He has somehow managed to erase his past from Iianium's records or had someone do it for him. (Most believe it was Doctor Chronos.) The only being that knows his secret identity is the android hero known as The Bronze Robot. The machine man promised Electric Arrow ages ago that he'd never reveal the man's name to anyone not even to Baethany.
Electric Arrow has never had a sidekick and would never consider it. It is known that he has a female canine pet, which is likely a Gallsou (a kind of winged dogkin native to Iianium). He calls her Kiileia. Only a handful of sentients have seen Kiileia. When Electric Arrow is in prison, The Bronze Robot takes care of the canine beast.
Electric Arrow's base of operations is believed to be hidden somewhere in the outlying sectors of Iianium and is rumored to be protected by Windkins (beings of pure air).
Electric Arrow versus the Justices of Iianium
The police forces in Iianium are generally known as Justices. The realm's judges are known as High Justices. The realm's beleaguered militias are known as Low Justices, and they have very little power beyond their floating tors. While corruption is a major problem in Iianium, there are many Justices who serve and protect the denizens of the realm faithfully.
Electric Arrow hates corrupt Justices with a passion. He has taken down, at least, six corrupt Justices and one infamous High Justice who tried to use her political power to seek genocide against the Breriaks of the Tor of Irux. The Low Justices rarely oppose him, and he's worked with them on occasion.
Electric Arrow has spent a lot of time imprisoned in Iianium (under Justice ID "Prisoner 24C934JJ2"), which is always problematic for the prison. Usually, he has to be kept isolated from other prisoners, for the safety of everyone. He is infamous for his escapes, but he never helps other inmates escape. In fact, he'll help capture other escapees even if it means he is caught as well.
Electric Arrow can infuse his bow, arrows, and any other hand-held or thrown weapon with a powerful electric energy. While he rarely uses firearms, he can enhance energy-based weapons with electric energy (a dangerous tactic that can cause a weapon to overload). While he can also shock people with a touch from his hands, he cannot project electric energy out from his body. He can absorb electricity and lightning into himself, however.
While Electric Arrow is very fast, he cannot run or fly at supersonic speeds. Instead, his electricity ability charges his heightened reflexes and keen vision.
Electric Arrow is a master pilot and combat ace, as all denizens of Iianium are taught to fly air vehicles from a young age. He can use his powers to start vehicles of any kind and override the vehicle's security protocols. He is also able to ride any kind of winged creature native to his home realm, as well as a few from other realms.
Electric Arrow must consume twice as much food as a normal being from his Reality Realm. This is equivalent to four times what is normal for humans from Earth.
Electric Arrow does not consider Captain Centras to be his enemy, but he understands that she must do her duty when ordered to bring him in by the Worlds' Elders. He considers the Worlds' Elders to be “a bunch of old fossils that have forgotten what it means to be a hero.”
The powered mercenary team of known as the Law Oracles consider Electric Arrow to be scourge to the purity of Centras. They are always trying to catch him while he is free. The closest Electric Arrow has to a nemesis is the villain Razordog. The two of them were once forced to share a cell.
