Tyranno, with his assistant Fodor, operates a plan to take over the governorship of the planetary system from one of Jupiter's moons, Ganymede. To do so, he uses radar to trick the Staritania to Jupiter. Meeting Stella Dawn as she disembarks the Staritania liner on Jupiter, Rex Clive concocts a means by which the Space Rangers can escape Jupiter's heavy gravity with the Staritania. Four moons of Jupiter conjoin in a super-eclipse, giving Rex enough gravitational pull from the moons to escape Jupiter's pull. The Space Rangers permanently subdue Tyranno when they blow up his spacecraft.
