When Kimar and Momar, rulers of Mars, decided to bring Santa Claus to Mars for their children, Voldar was the leader of the company sent to kidnap him. He was successful, but Voldar was not happy with the plan. He believed that toys would make Martian children weak, and he wished to kill or discredit Santa Claus before he could corrupt the war-like ethos of Martian society. Voldar was a strong warrior, equipped with Martian weapons technology and he was assisted by his men, Stobo and Shim.
