Golden Age Origin
Kay, a morning newscaster of “Breakfast With Kay,” turned into the crime-fighter Magga the Magnificent when she uttered the phrase “om mani padme hum,” which was also used by Green Lama to invoke his powers.
As Magga the Magnificent, Kay possessed the powers of flight and super-strength. In her first and only comic appearance, she helped a women gain her inheritance.
