Golden Age Origin
College graduate Jim Travis was sitting at home and reading an "Acme Comics" comic book. He suddenly came up with the idea that he could be just as good a superhero as anyone in the comics. He designed a costume and took the name Rainbow. He had no powers but was athletic and had a good right hook.
