Golden Age Origin

The Silver Ranger was a mysterious crime fighter who battled injustice throughout the old American West. He was an exceptional detective, able to discern the guilty from the innocent with uncanny skill. He was also a good fighter and exceptional horseman and strategist.

He rode a black horse named Lucifer, the Wonder Horse. Lucifer was apparently much faster and more agile than most other horses, often disappearing with shocking speed. When justice was accomplished, The Silver Ranger could be heard shouting in the distance, "Lucifer, Go, Lucifer!"

Golden Age Appearances

  • Silver Streak Comics #8-12

Blurbs claimed that the Silver Ranger was a "new movie serial story by Silver Films Studios" but it doesn't appear that any such serial was ever made or that any such film company existed. The Silver Ranger was likely just an imitation of the Lone Ranger.
