Origin
The Spiderweb Woman is but one avatar of a unknowable creature trapped between worlds. The human tongue has many approximations of its true name but the two most heard are Xanoleth and Xianolet. Some scholars believe she is the inspiration for the tale of Sleeping Beauty as legends say her touch can lead to sleep for a hundred years as she eats her victim slowly starting with the body and somehow ending with the preserved conscious mind.
