If “Only DRAG STRIP HOTRODDERS #13-16 … are public domain,” and not prior issues, then the character Ken King is not in the public domain because he first appeared in Drag‐Strip Hotrodders #12, October 1966, if not earlier. - I'm looking into it now. Charlton, though, never had proper copyright notices so... most likely this character falls under the Improper Copyright Notice category. There's more about that in the FAQ.Cebr1979 (talk) 00:41, July 2, 2016 (UTC)
