Hmm... I don't know why that link is taking you there but, you can try going [http://cocatalog.loc.gov/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?PAGE=sbSearch&SEQ=20141218234254&PID=3UJ6BsEYFL6PhpwZGr6gQlU here] and just searching yourself. The 2011 album is the first one that comes up but, you can just scroll to the right one.[[User:Cebr1979|Cebr1979]] ([[User talk:Cebr1979|talk]]) 04:45, December 19, 2014 (UTC)

Okay, are you guys sure he's public domain? Because he's from the early '60s, and I haven't found any other sources saying that the copyright on Space Angel ever expired. --NEΘ THETA (Talk | Contributions | DeviantART | Embed Hell) 23:11, December 18, 2014 (UTC)

No, these characters are totally not PD. There's a renewal notice right here plain as day. Not sure where freeuniverse got his info when he originally added them but, thanks for questioning it! Cebr1979 (talk) 00:00, December 19, 2014 (UTC)

Um...wait a second.  The "plain as day" link points to what appear to be a 2011 copyright registration for a music album on which there happens to be a song called "Space Angel."

Works from before 1964 did require a copyright renewal, so yes, it could potentially be PD.  I do not remember what I read about Space Angel at the time, but I'm usually pretty thorough about my research, and whatever I read must have convinced me it was safely out of copyright.  I will try to find some info.  In the mean time, let us know if you able to find a registration for the TV show.  I think the renewal for Clutch Cargo is good, so I may have been wrong about them both.
