A Russian expatriot currently residing in Chicagoland region and an avowed history nut. I like to use big words and over-written explanations. My entries tend to be academic with a few touches of humor, and they are always in past tense. I try my best to assemble the often-contradictory information about public domain characters into something resembling a coherent whole. When possible, I try to provide context. Like most contributors at this wiki, I got a project that involves public domain characters that I am working on, but it's still mostly in conceptual stage.
